Today I invite you to do a trip with me are just a few minutes, and I promise will be unforgettable. Would you join this proposal?. Well here we go. The destination is the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague , "the golden city."


To begin this beautiful journey, going from Prague Castle Hill , because thanks to this privileged status on the Vltava river , we see a broad paranorama of this beautiful city. Prague Castle, considered one of the largest medieval fortresses in the world, is the current President's residence and the former seat of the kings of Bohemia.

Inside this large complex, we find the Prague Cathedral or St. Vitus Cathedral , which is the Cathedral oldest gothic Central Europe, and the scene of the coronation of the kings of Bohemia, and where are buried, bishops, archbishops and many kings, including Charles IV . Inside the cathedral, has the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, whose bodies and under seven different keys, are the Crown Jewels Czech .

also found inside the complex of Prague Castle, the Basilica and Convent San Jorge (which is full of ancient art from Bohemia), the Royal Palace the Street of the Alchemists Gold or (where we find the former home of Kafka ), among many other things.

left the castle and headed for the Old Town area through Malá Strana (Prague neighborhood known for its palaces and gardens) and crossing the Charles Bridge IV. The construction of this bridge dates from the fourteenth century, and has thirty statues a tower on each side of river. For him, passing a crowd of tourists and we were not going to be less so among tourists, musicians, craft vendors and artists, we crossed the bridge to get to our next destination: Old Town.

Before entering the Old Town Square, we visited l Jewish Quarter, which include an old Jewish cemetery (with some 20,000 graves, which are all together due to lack of space) and several synagogues.

Once we reached the Old Town Square , we find a monument to Jan Hus (religious reformer), we also find the City (which has a tower of 69 meters which can take the lift and that the bottom has an astronomical clock ), the Church of Our Lady of Tyn , and St. Nicholas Church .

The night is upon us, but we still have time to visit oto place, which shows a recent work that contrasts with all previous ones we have seen, The Dancing House .


It is night. Our journey has ended, gone are the lights illuminating our beautiful Prague.
